The Church of the Resurrection was opened in 1971. It was
formally closed and deemed no longer to be used for divine
worship by Bishop Nolan with a decree signed on 28th January
2020.

The Mass to formally close the Church of the Resurrection took
place on 1st February 2020. The images show Bishop Nolan, Fr
William, the local clergy, Rev. Malcolm McPherson, Rev. Stephen
Hazlett, Pastor Chris Barrett, and the Local Councillor Dougie
