Adult Faith Formation- Guided Reading

This Guided Reading section seeks to provide an opportunity for both individuals and small groups in ongoing Catholic faith formation. What is suggested is a book that might be useful for reflection, either alone or as part of a faith discussion group. As well as reading at a pace which suits the individual reader, there is also the possibility of entering into a discussion on what has been read, either with those with whom you are sharing the task, or by posting comments or questions. To make a comment simply go to the Discussion Forum on the Adult Faith Formation menu.

Guided Reading Programme for the book by Bishop Maurice Taylor, IT'S THE EUCHARIST, THANK GOD, Decani Books, ISBN 978-1-900314-19-0

Although it is small book, and easy to read, it offers some serious theological reflection on the Eucharist, highlighting various magisterial teachings, as well as Bishop Taylor's practical experiences of taking a very prominent role in the translation into English of the Roman Missal.

1. What does the book highlight for you about the Eucharist?

2. What is your response when you read Bishop Taylor's account of the relationship betwen ICEL and the Roman Congregation for Divine Worship?
